Gèze metro station

The Gèze metro station is located in Marseille, France. It is part of the M2 metro line. It is located in Marseille’s 15th arrondissement, near the La Cabucelle, Les Crottes and Les Arnavaux districts.

Built flush with the ground, Gèze is a station on line 2 of the Marseille metro, terminus nord, located before the Bougainville station, on the way to the terminus sud station Sainte-Marguerite – Dromel.

A back station tunnel with a small central platform is visible at the northern end of the station. A track running parallel to the platforms enables out-of-service trains to reach the nearby Zoccola depot.

Its name comes from the boulevard du Capitaine-Gèze. The boulevard was named in honor of Arnaud Gèze, who died for France in August 1944, during the Liberation of Marseille.
