The Sainte-Marguerite Dromel metro station is on line 2 of the Marseille metro, in the city’s 9th arrondissement. It is close to the Mazargues district and the Sainte-Marguerite hospital.
Sainte-Marguerite Dromel station was inaugurated in September 1984 when Marseille metro line 2 was extended southwards. It is named after two adjacent streets: rue Sainte-Marguerite and rue Dromel.
Alain Amedeo is the station’s architect.
The station has been accessible to people with reduced mobility since June 2019, with the installation of elevators to access the platforms. Along with Gèze, it is one of only two stations on line 2 to be equipped this way.
